Extremely large packaging and I had to pay double the amount in shipping and handling charges compared to the price of the jeans.

I’m really tall and thin. I wear a 29×34. These are the only jeans that fit me and they fit well, but it seems to depend on the country that made them. I own a few pairs of these jeans. Apparently Levis has their jeans made in several different countries, Mexico, Bangladesh, Madagascar… and even though it says the same size the jeans made in different countries fit differently. I have a pair from Mexico that fit perfectly, but another pair made in China is too short and too tight.

My husband likes the look and feel of the jeans save for one thing- however they hit him, they make him feel the need to use the toilet. It sounds terrible, but he says he can live with it. The look really is good and the quality is what I expected.

When I got these and put them on, I was so happy with the fit that I ordered two other pair of Levi’s. The other Levi’s were the Men’s 511 Skinny Zipper Back Jean, Rigid Villian, and the Levi’s 514 Slim Straight Welder Jean, Sail. Unfortunately, neither pair fit nearly as well as the Levi’s Men’s 514 Slim Straight Leg Vert Jean, and I returned them. On the 514, the little extra upper back pocket is perfect for me (I use a thin, small wallet that fits great in there) and the cut and taper and break for my size is perfect. I also think the color and sheen of the Rub Out version is stylish and contemporary and versatile — they are sort of shiny and smooth-looking, but not cheesy. The only con is that they are a bit thin. All-in-all, they are very cool jeans, and I may buy one more pair or try the 514 in a different wash.

In searching for the perfect jeans (slender guy here- 31×30), these fit flawlessly. Not baggy around the shoes, snug thighs, well made and great look. I also purchased the Welder Jeans, 3D rigid which I thought had a more interesting design. But these were surprisingly much more fashionable and the pockets complement the back pattern really well. These are very similar to the Gap straight fit jeans (dark wash), but honestly a bit more stylish. Already received one complement today. Well worth the price for a current fashionable jean.
